WineFashionista is all about the things I love:  wine, fashion and fragrance.  Here I get to blend them all and share with you.

What’s in my wine cellar? My favorite wines are the Rhone varietals, Priorat, Nero d’Avola, rosé and bubbly, and any aromatic white (Torrontes, Riesling)

What’s in my closet? Diane von Furstenberg, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Rozae Nichols, Yigal Azrouel, Velvet, Trina Turk, AG, 7′s and JBrand jeans. For shoes, Bettye Muller, Anyi Lu, Christian Louboutin, Chie Mihara, Manolo, Jimmy Choo, Constanca Basto, Tods and Angeleigh Anastasio.  Handbags are also Angeleigh Anastasio, Kooba, Treesje, Tods, Gustto.  I adore jewelry, and my collection includes Robindira Unsworth, Alexis Bittar, Pianegonda and Vaubel.

I am also a beauty product and perfume junkie.  I spent a week in Grasse, France, with Sniffapalooza, on a perfume tour, which was an amazing experience.  There are so many similarities between wine and perfume.  To me it’s a natural pairing.

Fragrances I love are from By Kilian, Editions Frederic Malle, Serge Lutens, Maison Francis Kurkdijan, L’Artisan Parfumer, Bodeacia the Victorious, Nobile 1949, Nasamotto, Honore de Pres.  I’m crazy for white florals, especially tuberose and gardenia, lilacs, ambers, spicy orientals and gourmands.  I like complexity over freshness.

In 2010 I completed the Wine & Spirits Education Trust intermediate and advanced wine certificate programs. I also passed the Introductory Level of Court of Master Sommelier in 2011.  The Certified Sommelier level is my next goal.
